Two icons. To make a change from the Sandman theme, I dug into my Pre-Raphaelites art :)
Both are from paintings by Edward Burne-Jones.

This is Nimue stealing Merlin's book.
I thought that was appropriate, a woman stealing in books the knowledge from men.

This one is temperance. No meaning intended, it just looked good and made a color / posture contrast with the other one.

*saves them immediately**

Now, Hiyami, you didn't have to do that. We just went through the whole Xmas gift-giving season. But thankyou, they're beautiful: I love all of the Arthurian stories, and have always loved the Lady of the Lake/Nimue legend. I used to have such a crush on Launcelot--the mysterious stranger from Brittany.

I know XMas wasn't so far ago, but actually it made me realize that it probably didn't help you not enjoying your b-day a lot. Having two dates to celebrate too close from each other usually ends up with one being neglected a little, I found.

I'm glad you liked them :)

You're right: it was weird being born so near Xmas. Since after all the spending that happens around the Xmas holidays, my parents were too tired to do much on my bday. I usually didn't get "good" presents, in other words, because I had just recently gotten Xmas presents.

Plus, it was the time for final exams--they wanted me to study and not goof around.
