... meeeeh

There's a music video about the French benefit song for the Tsunami victims. Good intentions, but boy is the song corny and melodramatic...

A little decency, please?

I don't like tear-inducing applied on real tragedies. It doesn't need emphasis.

As if we need anything more to motivate us. Actually that's probably true, if wrong.

Actually, it is very possible that people would need a dramatized reminder of that kind to still think of helping out. It doesn't make it any less irritating.

the song is strange not harmonic... did not like it! video clip looks an Obispo song or les Enfoirés, songs is crappier !

I figure the "not harmonic" part comes from having to make a lot of different people who are not all singers (... or singers who can't sing).
But you're right, I didn't realize it was one of the reasons why it didn't work on me.

I don't know why, but the song of Les Enfoirés sounded more honest, less "I'm going to make you cry with images" than this...

well in that song, there the singer unable to sing (points to veronic sanson first)... but then the all song is disharmonic. the chorus sounds differently than the rest ! i think the best singers (if there are some) were unable to sing that song proprelly...

they did the same here in Germany...the song is quite meldodramatic...gregorian chant style...the adverts for it are even more dramatic :-(

I donated money - but not by buying cheesy, fast fabricated melodramatic songs.

Yeah, I'd feel guilty of wasting natural resources and any eurocent to grave this CD...
