Opening the ball of Seasons posts officially : this one is dedicated to
"Ca c'est Paris"... for better or for worse.
The Hotel Westminster's Seasons ornament, it seems... Looks like a curtain of red roses? o_O Pretty...
This was taken just beside, but a few weeks ago. Cartier's shop (Place Vendôme is where all the most expensive jewelries are) was undergoing major renovation, and they had this... thing... to cover the scaffolding.
Jardin des Tuileries, sunset on an winter afternoon, with rust-colored trees. Squee. I &heart; Paris.
On the other hand, I saw this in a shop window and was wondering how insanely rich I'd have to get before I would consider buying something as ugly and useless as this :
Close-ups of the silver lobsters :
and the octopus :
It's sold with silverware, but I have no idea if it's supposed to have any purpose.
And of course, as in any luxury shop, no price in the window.
(basically, if you need to ask how much it costs, you can't buy it :P )
